I cannot recommend the restaurant at all! Super unfriendly and I have already reserved the table but still I had to wait so long to get a table. although I have already written that a dinner for a birthday and also at 00:00 should serve a dessert for us with the candle, but that doesn't work. we could just order pasta. I don't even want to give 1 star.

Charlot...Pardon! Actually Charlatan. Service was awful, we didn't get any menu. The prices are exagerated and there is a lack of the food quality: 20 Euros for a basic Carpaccio(very thick and dry, there was no olive oil on it and no Parmigiano), 20 Euros for vitello tonato (same thing, very thick and dry), 12 euros for a glass of basic nero d'Avola. Above all, the waiter insisted for tip at the end. Definitely not going back!

One of THE place to go to prior the Opera. Good food, they know to provide fast serving when you tell them you have limited time. Food is at a constant good quality (fresh). Also for the more romantic evenings.

Food is nice, location is also quite nice! BUT, at the end the service is also quite important. After ordering our food and wine we also asked for tab water. The waiter told us, that they normally sell only a bottle of water for 8,90 Euro but he will do an exception. After we have asked for the bill I was a bit surprised that one position indicated 8,90 Euro. The second waiter explained me that we had 3 glass of tab water which in total is bottle and normally we should not complain. Of course we did and they deducted the water position from our bill, that is not very professional.

To avoid ! The food and beverages are a bit overpriced but for the center of Frankfurt that's fine and understandable. First time that I go that low for a restaurant, the service was unaceptable to something that I would have never imagined. Rude, pretentious, arrogant etc. But I am started to get use to that in Germany... As always they do not accept payment by card (min 50Eur). I leave for a minute to withdraw and when I come back... the waiter was sitting at my place (close to my girlfriend who stayed) and was making jokes to the next table. I just asked him if I could take back my place: he didn't even mind to answer. Never imagined that could happen. I don't recommend AT ALL.
